This set was documented on the field recorder that Echo gave to me for Christmas. It took place at Hallpass DIY in Philadelphia on the fifteenth of April, the year two thousand and twenty six. It is what it is.

A Song For A Long Walk:

A gift for a friend who was off somewhere completing a thru hike. They liked the song Sligo River Blues. After two months of cutting my teeth with that tune, I gave up and wrote this.

Provo:

A story or two about traveling through Utah, told as a series of vignettes:

A thunderstorm at sunset the Salt Lake
Omens delivered via raven
Narrowly avoiding arrest for the crime of transience
The night sky
A terrible dream

Elderflower:

A lament of my failures, featuring an homage to Townes Van Zandt

Tucson:

Something for our absent friends and for those of us fighting the parts of ourselves that want us to join them. May it be a salve on an ailing heart.

For my friends.

The impetus for this demo was being up north for Faradays' memorial. I think the first time I played the song Boltcutter out was on her guitar around the fire that night. I had wanted to record this on her guitar as an offering, but didn't end up getting the chance to. Daisy lent me a zoom H5 and I spent several days hiding from midwinter rain in Sonder's borrowed bedroom chugging beer and playing music for probably five plus hours every day. And after culling through like thirty takes, this is what was passable. It features field recordings from summer of 2024.

Free Palestine.
